August 2001

29.August.2001 - LIVE! From LinuxWorld Expo, I added some features to my TuxMath game! I also played around on a PlayStation 2 running Linux, and got two of my games (Agendaroids and Bug Squish) running on it without a hitch!

27.August.2001 - Yesterday I began work on the code for "Tux, of Math Command" ("tuxmath," for short), a new game being designed by the Tux4Kids project!

23.August.2001 - I discovered that my Circus Linux! game is going to be in the September, 2001 issue of Computer Source magazine in Seattle. It's also included in the Tux4Kids educational Linux distribution being developed!

17.August.2001 - Another article I submitted got accepted on Slashdot. As my friend John says, I guess I'm a 'Karma Whore.'

16.August.2001 - I've got this idea for a game... it combines Defender, Robotron and Tempest (2000, to be specific). Wish me luck!

13.August.2001 - I'll be giving another presentation (a pair of them, in fact) on The Gimp at the next two LUGOD meetings.

13.August.2001 - Back from my first trip to Las Vegas (for CGExpo)! Got many signatures from classic Atari and Activision developers, as well as some folks who are doing impressive stuff these days. Got a bunch more Lynx games, as well as "Kaboom!" for the Atari 800.

5.August.2001 - I will be giving a presentation on The Gimp, an excellent free paint program, at Wednesday's meeting of the Sacramento Linux Users Group (SacLUG).
